What is Monster Pack?

You may have to take high blood pressure medicine for the rest of your life. If high blood pressure is not treated, it can cause serious problems such as heart failure, blood vessel disease, stroke, or kidney disease. The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's orders or the directions on the label.

The following information includes only the average doses of this medicine. If your dose is different, do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so. The amount of medicine that you take depends on the strength of the medicine.

Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are using the medicine.

The combination is thus indicated especially in conditions where potassium balance is particularly important. If necessary, increase to one 'Moduretic' tablet given once a day or in divided doses. A single daily dose of one 'Moduretic' tablet may be increased gradually until there is an effective diuresis. Dosage should not exceed two 'Moduretic' tablets a day. A gradual weight reduction is especially desirable in cirrhotic patients to reduce the likelihood of untoward reactions associated with diuretic therapy.

Corticosteroids or ACTH may intensify any thiazide-induced electrolyte depletion, particularly hypokalaemia. Pressor amines such as epinephrine adrenaline may show decreased arterial responsiveness when used with 'Moduretic' but this reaction is not enough to preclude their therapeutic usefulness.

Non-depolarising muscle relaxants such as tubocurarine may possibly interact with 'Moduretic' to increase muscle relaxation.

Diuretics do not prevent the development of toxaemia of pregnancy and there is no satisfactory evidence that they are useful for its treatment. HydrochlorothiazideThere is limited experience with hydrochlorothiazide during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester.
