How should I take Cozaar?

Based on the pharmacological mechanism of action of hydrochlorothiazide, its use during second and third trimesters may compromise foeto-placental perfusion and may cause foetal and neonatal effects like icterus, disturbance of electrolyte balance and thrombocytopenia.
