What is Generic Coumadin?

Guest over a year ago I have been on Warfarin coumadin for six months like many others. I have experienced unprecedented weight gain, and was so pleased to see that I am not alone. For the life of me, I could not think what was causing my weight gain but began to suspect the Warfarin. I can't tell you how happy I was to read that I was not alone and that, unfortunately, so many others have experienced the same thing. Unlike most of those I read about, I do have the option of getting off Warfarin now.

I will see how being off the drug affects my weight. I hope to remember to come back and let you know in about a month or so. All the best to everyone in finding an alternative to coumadin that might not have the same side effects and still be effective in preserving life.

I too was told "no" this will not cause your weight gain, BULL!!!. Someone or a group of people need to figure this out. What ca be done about this. Guest over a year ago thank you ,thank you.

The good news is that health-conscious individuals already take a wide variety of nutrients through their diet and supplement program that drastically reduce their risk of developing thrombosis, which is the medical term for an abnormal vascular blood clot. Certain individuals, however, have underlying medical conditions that predispose them to developing thrombotic events.
