What is Generic Cellcept?

How should I take Generic Cellcept?

The active ingredient is Mycophenolate Mofetil 500 mg. The recommended adult dosage of CellCept tablets for various indications is given below: Use in renal transplant: Adult Dosage: Treatment with CellCept should be started within 72 hours following transplantation.

The recommended dose in renal transplant patients is 1 g administered Orally twice daily 2 g daily dose. Use in cardiac transplant: Adult Dosage: Oral CellCept should be started within 5 days following transplantation. What should I avoid while taking Generic Cellcept?

During rejection, the transplanted organ doesn't work as well as it should. This doesn't mean that it will stop working completely, and it doesn't mean that you will always lose your transplanted organ. Generic Cellcept side effects

Concurrent use of any drug that may interfere with enterohepatic recirculation of MPA such as activated charcoal is not recommended. Chlorambucil: Chlorambucil is known to cause myelosuppression, which may lead to neutropenia related side effects. Concurrent use of chlorambucil with other agents which cause bone marrow or immune suppression such as immunosuppressives may result in additive effects.

Cholestyramine: Avoid administration of mycophenolate mofetil with cholestyramine. Coadministration of mycophenolate mofetil with cholestyramine decreases the bioavailability of mycophenolate mofetil.

Common Generic Cellcept ide effects may include:
